In 2024, Turner Construction Co. transitioned from Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM to Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) and required a structured, scalable training approach to support successful adoption across its U.S. regional offices. Turner needed a customized program that aligned with its project management methodologies while equipping scheduling managers with the knowledge and resources necessary to train and support their teams internally.

Turner partnered with Critical Business Analysis (an IMS subsidiary), a trusted provider of Primavera training and a preferred Oracle OPC implementation and training partner, to design and deliver a tailored “train the trainer” program. Conducted during Turner’s annual meeting in Chicago, the two-day interactive training focused on hands-on project setup, scheduling, resource management, baselines, reporting, dashboards, configured fields, and advanced OPC functionality. CBA (an IMS subsidiary) customized the training materials and exercises specifically around Turner’s workflows and operational standards to support consistent implementation across regional offices.

The training program successfully prepared Turner’s scheduling managers to lead OPC adoption and internal training efforts across the organization. Through customized instruction, hands-on learning, and Turner-specific best practices, Critical Business Analysis (an IMS subsidiary) delivered a scalable and repeatable training solution that strengthened consistency, user adoption, and long-term OPC utilization across Turner’s regional teams.
