Project

Allow IHS’ Project Managers the ability to evaluate contractors project plans and provide executive leadership with transparent visibility into project performance.

Business Challenge

Prior to engaging IMS, IHS had identified a need to better manage their contracts for new facilities construction. They had surveyed other organizations and settled on Primavera P6 as their project management tool of choice. Needed to develop the expertise to plan projects, evaluate schedules and track performance of their contractor, and to provide their leadership with visibility into project performance. Their IT Organization did not have the capability to support project management applications.

Solution

• IMS worked as a team to provide P6 support to IHS.
• Set up P6 for IHS on the IMS Cloud.
• Configured Primavera P6 to support management reporting needs.
• Provided Instructor-Led and on-demand P6 training for users.
• Provided ongoing application and technical support.
• Provided ProjectInfoCenter Dashboards for IHS users.

Impact
IMS is the sole provider of P6 support to IHS. IHS is now capable of getting all the information they need from P6 when they need it.
