For years, Primoris Services Corporation has been a growing concern. Much of this growth has been achieved through complimentary acquisition. As the company has grown, it became apparent to management they did not have any uniformity in business practices, and the project management information was siloed by company. Furthermore, they had fifteen P6 databases, which were being hosted by another company, who was not being sufficiently coorporative with respect to getting software upgrades implemented. Primoris acquired a company that was already working with IMS. This client was enthusiastic regarding the level of support IMS was providing, so Primoris engaged IMS to help resolve their issues.

IMS assisted PSC in defining common project planning and control practices across their businesses. IMS consolidated their fifteen databases into a single database to support their entire enterprise. IMS assumed responsibility for hosting P6 EPPM, with upgraded P6 EPPM software, and trained their users and P6 Administrators. Since the initial implementation, PSC has grown by adding additional companies. IMS collaborates with migrating these companies onto the hosted platform and assists in managing users as well as providing day to day application support.

In eight years, since starting to work with IMS in 2015, PSC has added thirteen subsidiary companies. IMS has continued to support PSC by hosting and supporting Primavera P6 EPPM. Their upper management has said they never hear about what we are doing and that means everything is running smoothly.
