Need for building skills gives rise to training program
Lamar Institute of Technology and Innovative Management Solutions partner in Construction Technology Program to recruit and train a commercial construction workforce.
The program will include studies in construction site safety, blueprint reading & sketching, and project management certification.
Before the partnership, companies had to go to Houston or Dallas to get certified.
